Two-in-one DNS server with BIND9

This tutorial shows you how to configure BIND9 DNS server to serve an internal network and an external network at the same time with different set of information. To accomplish that goal, a new feature of BIND9 called view is used. As a tutorial it'll walk you through the whole set up, but initial knowledge of BIND and DNS is required, there are plenty of documents that cover that information on the Internet.

Wildcard hosting with Apache and Bind

If you have control over your DNS you can setup 'wildcard hosting', which means you can have a webserver accept connections for any given subdomain. This can be enormously useful for community websites, or other hosting purposes.

Битва продолжается, и недавно IBM вызвала в суд корпорацию Microsoft с тем, чтобы последняя выдала всю корресподенцию, имеющую отношение к SCO начиная с 28 июня 2002 года (включая e-mail, Internet chatting и пр), и личную переписку Darl'a McBride'a и Steve'a Ballmer'a. Также IBM требует у Microsoft детали её внутренней бизнес стратегии, которая касается Linux. Среди прочих, в суд были также вызваны представители Sun, HP и Baystar.

Jabber в Туле.

Помнится одно время был в Туле Jabber сервер ака jabber.tula.net, и ктото там даже был, но потом чето вдруг сервер исчез и с концами, посему учитывя то что у нас есть свой и в туле решили оформить и опубликовать, итого - http://jabber.icf.bofh.ru now online and public :)
